Bikes & Gear

Bikes are very good quality, our itineraries are completely secondary asphalt roads.
we suggest our road bikes, available with upright bar or drop bar- they are italian made alluminum frame, carbon fiber fork, components Shimano Ultegra or 105 or Deore - 27 speed 
Bikes sizes: Persons from 5' to 6'5'' can be accommodated.
Bike Gearing: We have many years of experience in choosing the best gearing for the Italian hills. Marco builds the bikes to ensure you always have a low enough gear to make the hills enjoyable, after all you are on vacation/holiday! For example many of our bikes with compact gear setups have a large 32 size rear cog. Please ask us about any specific concerns you have about the gearing of our bikes so we can ensure you enjoy your trip.

Race bike high-end full carbon :

Mountain Bike
aluminum frame; front shock; components Shimano 24 speed; MTB wheels.
Available for rent - rates: Euro 20 per day; Euro 120 per week

Race tandem high-end
scandium frame, carbon fiber front fork, components Sram Red 20 speed, carbon fiber handle bar and seat post, race wheels.
Available only with tour

Tandem Cannondale
aluminum frame, components Shimano Deore XT 27 speed, front shock, gel seat shock - hybrid wheels 26".

Equipment

We provide all equipment but if you  want to bring something personal to feel as in your bike you are welcome to bring your own helmet, pedals and seat

Helmets
To insure your safety we require our guests to wear helmets. We provide state-of-art Italian helmet trade mark limar. www.limar.com  

Pedals
Our bikes do come equipped with toe clips pedals or flat pedals If you want to bring your own clipless pedals we will be happy to install them on our bike. Anyway inquire us, we have available spd and look pedals.

Seat
very comfortable seats are available, model for women and for man, although no problem to fix your seat. Please don't bring the seat post.

Accessories

Our touring/road bicycles are outfitted with:

handlebar bag with plastic pocket for map
(highlighted maps and detailed route notes)

water bottle
we provide a new cicloposse water bottle to keep as souvenir.

tools
A mini-pump, inner tube, and tire levers are provided.

Computer mile/km counter
(need to follow perfectly our route suggestions)

Lock

Map holder
we do not suggest the front bag on dropped handle bar BUT only a plastic pocket for map. 

Rear carrier
on request we can provide a rear carrier fixed to seat post.  

Rear carrier with bag
on request we can provide the back bag on reaer carrier.

Saddle bag
saddle bag available to carry extra tube and pump.

RENT BIKE

In the cost of rent is included: helmet, new water bottle, tool kit with extra tube and small pump, lock. available front bag and bike carrier.
The best is come to our shop for a professional bike fitting. anyway we delivery the bike to accommodation and the cost depends on distance from our shop in Pienza.
