DAY 1

Welcome to Alghero

meet Alghero airport -nice to bike you- transfer to fabulous lodging in front of sea – Bike fitting. Lively and pretty city, a new cosmopolitanism. Welcome dinner at ai Tuguri restaurant

DAY 2

Bosa & castle

Bike tour to Bosa via Villanova Monteleone and back skirting coast. The bike ride to Bosa is 60 km inland via Villanova through cork oak forest. admire the murales in Monteresta. the old fortified town was founded in ancient times – it was a strongly fortified town, from around the year 1000. Distance 105 km/65,5 miles

DAY 3

Foresta di Burgo & Oliena

Bike trip to Oliena via Ittiri, Thiesi, Foresta di Burgos, Bono, Nuoro. ride in fields of artichokes and forest. after a capuccino in Thiesi back in the saddle and get foresta di burgos, challenging part of day, long climb to top hill. Once there enjoy the downhill, light lunch in the village Distance: 95 km/59 miles in Bono or 140 km/87,5 miles. tonight art hotel you will love.

DAY 4

Dorgali, Baunei & Arbatax

Arbatax, small harbour in the Ogliastra territory, enriched with green-colored Mediterranean scrub and famous for the characteristic red rocks. Bike tour is up + down to Baunei, looks more like a mountain village than a seaside village, despite its position near the sea. Enjoy a pleasent downhill to S.M. Navarrese on unspoilt coastline. Distance 90 km/ 55 miles.

DAY 5

Barumini & Nuraghes

Bike trip to Barumini via Perdasdefogu, Nurri. Sardinia is well-known not only for its natural beauties but also for its typical and peculiar buildings called Nuraghe, first appearing during the Bronze Age, symbol of this island. Visit the nuraghic complex in Barumini. Grab the bike and continue to Guspini, few hills wait for us. Distance 88 km/55 miles

DAY 6

Portixeddu & Pan di Zucchero

Bike tour to Carbonia via coast Bugerru, Fontanamare. Arbus through prickly pears. Admire the “pan di Zucchero” an outcropping rock 133 meters high and has two natural arches, and the little fish village Bugerru. End of ride in Fontanamare, short transfer to Cantine 6mura or cantine Mesa for wine tasting and visit cellars. Distance 95 km/59 miles

DAY 7

Baia di Chia coastal road

Bike trip loop ride on the coast Domus de Maria, Teulada, Chia. Enjoy the up & down skirting Baia coastal road. Fantastic seaside spot: the white sandy beaches, the high sand dunes and the crystalline water have a Caribbean feel, only the Mediterranean vegetation remind you this fantastic island is in the Mediterenean. Distance 66 km/ 41 miles

DAY 8

Farewell breakfast & Pula

This morning after breakfast enjoy Pula beaches and coves, Roman excavations and blindingly white sand dunes and consider to visit the beach of Nora and a large Roman amphitheatre that lies directly on the sea. Bus, taxi or private transfer available to Cagliari – Arrivederci!
