getting in alghero
First of all, which are the nearest airports ?
at first place: Alghero Fertilia
From airport take the cab or shuttle by bus (A.L.F.A. line, the company is ARST) to first hotel. The ride is about ten minutes
otherwise on the island there are other 2 airport:
Cagliari Elmas and Olbia Costa Smeralda

From Cagliari take the train to Sassari.
The train station is very close to the Cagliari airport, walking distance.
There are five trains per day and you must change in Ozieri or Oristano, just one trains is direct.
The ride is about three hours and half.
Departure times: 6,29- 12,29- 14,29- 16,32 (direct)- 18,29. In summer period (from June to September) they could change: please ask before or visit the web site www.trenitalia.com

From Olbia: take the cab or bus to the train station (the ride is about 15 minutes).
Take the train to Sassari. There are six trains from 6 AM to 19,20 PM, three of which are direct and for the other you must change in Ozieri.
Once in Sassari you can take the local train to Alghero, or bus. The company is the same: ARST www.arst.sardegna.it/index.html
TRAIN: there are 12 trains per day from 5,50 AM to 20,50 PM.
The ride is about 30 minutes and the costs is 4 euros
Once in Sassari bus or taxi to Alghero
BUS: there are many buses which connect Sassari to Alghero. The train station is far to the bus station and need take a taxi or another cab.
In Alghero station take the cab to the hotel (arrive in five minutes)
