Post Covid-19 travelling – let’s look at 2021
Updates to Our Booking Policies, our safety & hygiene protocols, offer of small private groups tour
We are still in emergency all over the world – in Europe many countries are in lock-down till January 7th 2021
ANYWAY WE ARE HERE FOR YOU WHEN YOU feel is the right moment to plans you a cycling vacation for 2021.
In fact cycling, being outdoors and naturally socially distanced, is genetically safer than other types of activities and modes of travel right now.
We focus on biking in wide open beautiful spaces, far from crowds and more off the beaten path.
We plan to further reduce risk by being smart and modifying our operations.
First of all: we provide self guided and those trips are all private, so this will the strongly suggested way to travel for next future.
Also we offer guided tour – for next season 2021 we are capping our tours with a maximum group size of 8-12 guests
We will opt the outdoor spaces as much as possible.
We will make available hand sanitizers for our customers, in the van, at bike fitting meeting and during any guided day trip or tour.
We have relaxed our policies as follows:
the booking deposit for all 2021 will be only euro 100 to secure your space (as opposed to usual 400 to 500 euro ) and final payment is due only 30 days before the trip
Besides, if cancellation after the payment is due to Covid condition, 100% of the funds can be kept on account for use during all 2022
For 2021 tours: we will kept the deposit only 100 euro to secure your space, finale payment 30 days before the trip
If covid-19 situation will be persistent we will amend our terms – See our terms & condition
Some rules and precautions we take:
Hotels – We’ve carefully selected the hotels on our trips because of their high standards for quality.
We are asking all our hotel operators to abide by an enhanced safety protocol for cleaning and physical distancing.
Bikes, equipment & Vans – From GPS device, handle bar, saddle, helmets, any piece of gear that needs it will get a daily cleaning and disinfection with alcohol based product. The same for all common surface areas in our vans
Meals: as much as possible dining will be arranged outside As appropriate, we will also allow customer to modify dining as risk tolerance allows: getting room-service, take-out or dining separately in smaller groups
Prepared Tour Leaders Our offices are staffed for emergencies, and we’ll be there to provide support for you and our field team when needed. Our Trip Leaders , will have a protocol to follow in case of any health issues. A new training program for our Trip Leaders will set them up to support you as we travel in these unusual times. They’ll be proactive communicators and prepared to manage logistics around any adjustments needed during your trip.
Arriving Healthy Upon their arrival, guests will have to declare that they do not have a body temperature exceeding 37.5°C.
Only on the guided tour on day one all guests will have their temperature taken by Trip Leader. A reading of ≥37.5°C will mean we are unable to welcome on the trip.
Face Coverings We’re recommending that all guests bring their face masks We’ll have a small supply on hand if you forget. We’ll make every effort to have hand sanitizer available, but it’s always a good idea to bring own.
We are a small family-run company , same owner/founder even if now we have the second
generation full engaged in the company
Since 1994, so we have some company saving – in short, we will weather the storm.
During more than 25 years WE FACE other challenges – this is completely new because is so globally and overwhelmed, we can’t wait to welcome again in Italy for a lifetime cycling trip
