Cycling and Cooking in Tuscany, Italy
The slogan for Cicloposse’s six-day Cycling and Cooking in Tuscany is “dig into the real way Tuscan people eat.” Work up an appetite passing through the rich green valley of Val D’Orcia, a UNESCO site since 2004 lined with Cypress trees and charming towns and villages. One standout is Bagno Vignoni, a charming hamlet with a Roman vasca, or community baths. During this magical week, riders will feast on hand-rolled pici pasta, local pecorino cheese, fresh-pressed olive oil, porcini mushrooms, and Chianina beef, in a variety of settings, from simple osterias to family trattorias

Val d’orcia park include Montalcino, the Brunello land, and we focus also on al Tuscan wines
in fact during the week there are many occasion to pair the Tuscan wine with food.
besides the Brunello wine tasting with lunch at cellar, you can discover the Nobile di Montepulciano, the Orcia doc, one super Tuscan, a chianti classico, a white Vermentino from the coast and a Vernaccia di San Gimignano. Also sparkling wine are included – is our favourite aperitif- absolutely spumante Metodo classico – we have some great bottles produced in Tuscany.
A big part of the success of this bike tour is due also to the outstanding experience to stay at agriturismo country house and farm Palazzi del papa managed from the owner Sabrina and chef Paolo and his brand Gusto Evoluto.
Like us they put a lot of passion in what they do, yet very professional. The joy to meet people and share is authentic and guests can feel.
