Sunday, May 15th, 2016 it will be a time trial stage, the ninth stage of the Giro d’Italia race 2016, the Chianti Classico Stage.
It will start from Radda in Chianti and will arrive in the beautiful square of Greve, between the provinces of Florence and Siena, also passing through Castellina in Chianti. 40,4 km / 25,25 Miles in the amazing area of Chianti Classico, a stunning time trial without a meter of plain!
Surely a decisive step to select the potential winners of the Tour of Italy 2016. Its main feature is the absence of flat sections, in a continuous up and down through the vineyards of the Gallo Nero. The cyclists, engaged in effort for about 50 minutes, will face up hills but also high slopes, and parts where it will be necessary to push down on the pedals, especially in the final rush, for the arrival in the stunning triangular square of Greve in Chianti.
