L’Alpe d’Huez bike ride

Departure from hotel – ride until Bourg d’Oisans 40 km gentle downhill then climb to Alpe d’Huez 14 km long This vertical climb of 1.120m (3.733 feet), 14 km (8.75 miles) long, gradients between 7.7 and 12% (average is 8,5%) and 21 switchbacks is one of the most historical and heroic ones in the history of the Tour de France. Le Col du Galibier & Telegraphe

Start at Col du Lauteret bike tour to Col du Galibier, 8 km uphill, then downhill 15 long until Valloire, gentle uphill to col du Telegraphe followed to a long downhill to st Jean de Maurienne 25 km long. For stronger riders ride to col de la Croix de Fer and end at Allemond – distance 120 km challenging bike trip

Izoard and Mont Dauphin

Bike tour Izoard. Departure from Col du Lauteret to Mont dauphin distance 58 km via Monetier le bains, Briancon. Easy ride, mostly downhill. For stronger cyclists, once in Briancon take the uphill Izoard: distance Km 82 to mont dauphin. From mont Dauphin to Mazan by van via Gap, Serre. Distance to cover by van is 185 km, it will take about 3 hours

Provence & Dentelles de Montmiral

bike tour Provence: from Mazan, Vaison la Romaine, Dentelles de Montmiral, cote du Rhone wineyards. Nice stop is Vaison, has a wealth of Roman ruins and a picturesque medieval old town; Dentelles de Montmirail are short, steep mountains with a distinctive rocky ridge, extending west geologically from the Ventoux mountains. Total distance 80 km.

Epic Mont Ventoux bike tour

Mazan to Bedoin as a nice warm-up, start the climb to Mont Ventoux – the uphill is 21 km. Between 2 and 6% during the first kilometers but after Saint-Estève between 9 and 10,5% until Chalet Reynard and then there are still seven kilometers to go to the peak winding up in a steep stone-desert landscape. Enjoy downhill to Malaucene, 21 km long.
